Those that did hear,
The unending scream of fear,
As the calm of peace was taken,
Noticed more of the sleeping did it awaken.
As that which often leads
Is that which usually feeds,
The changing state of being
And the different ways of seeing.
As the silent defiantly know
And become a cause for the light to show,
Against the greed and the pain,
Of weakness and shame.
As the horrors most visible-
Render the good, invisible
Know that in circles of time and space-
The spirit of humanity does always show face.
