Sagacious words

Poetry is a deal of joy and pain and wonder, with a dash of the dictionary. ~ Khalil Gibran

Relentless noise

I hear a very loud drum, all the time.
It drowns out all the bullshit lies of the world.
Though that makes me conspicuous all of the time
I wouldn't change it for the world.

I'm sorry if the incessant noise is relentless and impertinent-
Truly I am, for those to whom peace
Is a comatose silence of conformity and obedience-
I cannot help to put your stream of consciences at ease.

I wanted to kill myself
And then I wanted to kill people,
Nowadays, I am just in  awe and wonder- of myself
And especially of the people.
