Resistance Burns

As noble words so fine,
Create moments that shine,
And kindness from strangers,
Brings hope and an atonement-
As light becomes stronger,
And memories of torment,
Are left in the old distance
Let it burn, the resistance.
In the hearts of the seeing,
Let wondrous times survive-
As if and when, knowing is believing,
To move forwards and thrive,
Is to grow despite all the deceiving.
