Apathy

The indifference of life
With it's bloody nose;

Of missing comprehension
And blinkered eyes,

Tethered by constructed images
And lies stomping loudly-

Protectively camouflaged reality
And insignificant rules aplenty;

The greed and laziness masks,
The fears that hide behind normality ;

All these the excuses and reasons-
For the hows and whys to apathy.
