Sagacious words

Poetry is a deal of joy and pain and wonder, with a dash of the dictionary. ~ Khalil Gibran

A Reflection

The label fell off and shrunk but the price didn't,
As the rage grows, so does the resistance.
Plead innocence- plead guilt, or plead ignorance
The remorseless liars are always full of fear,
In deeds the damage is done; so be a hope,
Of all that is not them and be a reflection,
For justice to grow and to clear the air of corruption.

Disturbance

The ground, swells up to meet the blood sky
When all the birds fall without the ability to fly
And a momentous calm concedes to the fray
As the madness of a force descends into play.
Walk with a calm footing on the volatile land,
The time of eternal  regrets is always at hand,
Every noise does not ergo make a loud wrong
Sometimes the sounds are able to make a song
With a quiet defiance the background dominates
The player oblivious to what it is that capitulates,
Pieces of the puzzle brought together exemplify,
The hurts of that which are late to ever quantify-
That every storm is a beginning which does signify,
The metamorphosis of powers which ever multiply.

Onslaught

Stab it in the dark
And kill the sadness away,
As the noise of the heart-
Drowns all reason away.

In the abscess of time,
Scary stories become bold,
About the cobwebs of the mind
And all the monsters that it must hold.

Skin alive the fears of tomorrow-
Break into pieces the staid memories-
For time shall truly end the sorrow
And lay waste to all inner enemies.

Silent Prayers

Kill the games, kill the shame and kill the fear.

In the oldest of times, the warriors fought and died
And the slaves served secretly carrying the woes of the powerful,
In the womens' quarters for ensuring safety, were there competitions and fights;
The cultures of power and servitude were masqueraded throughout it all.

Hasten away from the harrowing tails of yesteryear, tomorrow is a new dawn
And there is nothing to fear; from foaming mouths that discharge only a despair,
Lessons learnt carry the silent prayers of sinners, for the purifying grace of honour.

New Horizons

The demons of the past, present and future,
Fight for the soul that is lost
And the angels weep as love is overcome.

In the winding walkways towards the abyss,
The hollow screams and shallow dreams,
Fill the voids of regret and the crevices of despair.

In the fairness of loving and dying,
The roses bloom brightest in bloodied torment-
Forever young the hopes of the unseen,
As the tender trails of redemption,
Disappear into fleeting visions of wonder.

Following the footsteps of the dead,
New horizons on landscapes ravaged-
Are born through the eyes of the blind,
The dumb and muted, see more clearly
The sights of the hidden and the unknown.

In A Zephyr

You made your own bed,
You decided your own fate,
With every word you spoke
And every action you lived,
The walls of your house-
You built.

No more lies of bondage,
Or disorienting turmoil;
born through heavy guilt
And a numbing of sense,
No more covers of deceit-
From you.

You are an anchor lifted
In a zephyr wild and free-
With kaleidoscopes of faith,
Go find every new horizon,
And build a vision to change-
Life, forever.

Profusions

The fallout from every fight is utter madness,
As every harsh blow becomes a raw sadness.
And in these eternal moments when pain becomes
Super melded into the core soul as a battle begun;
It is, that within Delphic states of agonised profusions
I overcome animal instincts and find humane solutions.
And as skills and ambitions to breathe become reality
There is from truth of trauma, born an independent dignity.
